Default Turbo Hoses - How Tight?

Just had a look at my car and the two main air hoses weren't that tight, in fact the band wasn't really keeping the hose in place and had slipped back a bit.

I realise you shouldn't overtighten them as old hoses can just perish.

I nipped up a bit, but not too much, even then it turned easily the first couple of turns.

How much room should be left for expansion?

Car is a Signum 3.0 V6 CDTi with the Y30DT engine.

Cheers, puts my mind at rest, haven't been out in it yet, but have been noticing the 'whistle' slightly louder in recent weeks. Which is impressive in itself as the Elite has so much soundproofing you can't hear anything outside, thank god it's an auto as I can never hear it, I'd be constantly bouncing off the rev limiter.

I don't think my torque wrench goes that low, it's one of those two foot things. LOL. But thanks anyway.
