    Default Vectra 1.8 (54) Radiator

    Hi Guys

Got a warning light on car for radiator coolant level. Bought some at Asda ready mixed and pour it in. Went a little over the max line and light went off.

Had a look today and have a small leak at the bottom of the radiator... Could this be the excess like an overflow or most likly a leak?

If its a leak, would the radiator sealent possably solve this or am I best getting a new one?

If a new one how much likely to buy & fit?

Also, first drive of the day, the car kangaroos for a minute, but if I rev high for a second, it clears.. I did have a P0170 error on fuel bank 1, could be the fuel filter? or injector blocked?

    Cheers guys

Was the coolant from asda blue? If so its wrong stuff an needs system draining an filling with correct stuff.

You could try the rad weld but their usually only a temporary fix an really just skirting the problem it would be best to have the system pressure tested an confirm leak.

Rad was more than likely leaking before you added the coolant. Don't go adding rad weld etc, its only delaying the inevitable, best bet getting a new one.
