    Default Dusty car..........

Still a noob when it comes to this detailing lark, TBH I don't feel the need to go too OTT but I like the car too look clean. Spent half of Saturday cleaning the Siggy, nowt too special but it was minging after standing for a week after being on hols.

Started with a Mer wash. Rinse and chamois, didn't claybar it this time. Poorboys polish then some Poorboys wax all applied with a mechanical polisher. It looked great. However it's done a few miles since, some up and down a track and it's now very dusty.

Question: Rewash, rinse or just QD it? I don't know if I can find the time to polish and wax it again so would QD bring back the shine I had before it got dusty or will I need to rewash it first? If I do re wash it will i HAVE to polish and wax it again?

Don't use a chamois . Get your self a water magnet towel and a micro fibre cloth to finish of the drying process less chance of getting swirls and smears. hth

Unfortunately she also made me do her X-Trail too. And she'd gone and bought a bottle of Black Hole whilst i was walking the dog this morning. Ended up spending 2 hours washing, polishing and waxing it for her before I could get on and redo mine. And she now knows how much I spend on my detailing kit and where I get it from too! This is gonna cost me a fortune in the end!
