    Maybe someone else interested in this kind of stuff hasn't seen this yet.
    Hi-res images are starting to come in from Mars. A lot of incredible information is sure to follow when they start digging into the rocks and doing all sorts of experiments with this thing.

    amazing eh. i thought when the rover landed it was overshadowed by the olympics. i think its just amazing how it got there and landed were they wanted it to !!

    Cool stuff. Some excuse for the the black squares, I'm sur it's something they don't want us to see

    r.e. picture
    they've long known that rivers once flowed on mars, even though it's a rocky wasteland today -- but i'm still amazed to see the unmistakable remnants of a winding fluvial system in at least one of the pictures above. seems quite possible that they'll find some evidence of ancient life on mars during this mission, hopefully something a lot more interesting than some bacteria.

    It was always theorised that the core shut down on Mars, and she lost her magnetic field. This meant the atmosphere was 'corroded away' by the solar wind. Leaving a barron plant with a two polar ice caps made out of frozen Carbon and Oxygen. Water may exist in large quanities under the surface.
