    Cool decat derv 150?

    im thinking of decating my derv 150,but i like the standard twin exit look so thinkin decat remove middle box and have the twin boxes? anyone done this? also worried ive heard after removin cat it smokes abit? also will the turbo be ok? also is removing the middle box mot fail? i know diesels dont require cat for mot...sorry for all questions lol, my exhaust is blowin so i gotta do sumit with it

    Ive recently done this, exactly how you say mid box and cat gone but left the twin exit on. it feels less torqey, but ive got to map it again to sort it out. it doesnt smoke tooo much as you'd expect. the noise isnt too loud, when the turbo kicks in it just flies. it wont fail mot i asked around .

    so doin this ill have to map it? would leaving the single box on make any diff? whats fuel like now all round thumbs up?

    Well to get the best out of it you should remap it. fuel wise not much difference. i recently got 50 mpg on a short journey. im not sure if it'll fit. all the guys did at the garage was the took the cat and mid box out and put a pipe there.

    yep that will fit i put one on mine last week, and to be honest, it sounds no different with decat and straight through.

    No you don't have to map it for a decat should feel faster after a few miles once the ecu has learnt itself again
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info
