Default Carbon Fibre or Gloss Black??

    Hi All

As i can't get a sports grille for the a reasonable price (lmf currently out of stock and not even replied to my email), I am now thinking of vinyl wrapping my chrome V Grille, but I am actually usure wether to wrap in gloss black (my car is black) or carbon fibre??

I was actually considering also doing the pillars and mirror gusset if i do carbon fibre and i have found a Vectra C member on ebay who has a listing for the pillars and mirror gussets in preshaped/cut carbon fibre wrap.

I am not going mad on the modding, ordered a roof spoiler and debadged the rear, but I don't want to do much more, as I can't really afford, although the chrome window strips look smart on the black estates, but not sure it's worth going to the effort of removing the rear quarter glasses to have chrome fitted. I'm also not keen on tinted rear windows from the inside, but look great from the outside and with mine being a black estate, it's hard to stop it looking more like a funeral car and I certainly don't want to end up with a car that looks half modded.

If anyone has any pictures of a carbon fibre or colour coded front grille I would appreciate having a look, my car is prefacelift.

Please don't go carbon. Looks so chavvy and everyone will know it's not carbon so will look even worse

That's sort of what I also meant about half done & a good point, if I was going to have the chrome window trims I would prob leave the grill chrome, but I feel the chrome grill stands out too much on my black car

If you're staying all black with bits of chrome then I reckon stay chrome on the front to break it up a bit. The black grills look good on light coloured cars but will be a bit over the top on an already black car

I would like to fit chrome window strips, but it's an extra cost and it's the getting the rear quarters fitted, as these seem to be part of the glass? Maybe I should hav added standard as a poll option

I'm not keen on the Opel grilles, but this one being without the badge might not be so bad and I like being different
