    Vehicle : vectra c

    Trim : ls

    Engine : 1800

    Year : 04

    Mileage : 128000

    Default

it may just need a regas for about 50 pounds at kwik fit

i got mine done at nationwide autocentre they can test if you have a leak

    hopefully thats the cheapest option

if not it maybe the compressor or condensor

here is a thread here click below
    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...on-the-way-out

its common on the vectra c

I get mine tested, regassed, with dye put in so spotting a leak in future is easier for £35 trade.it should just need a regas mate and all will be well again.

It depends if it holds pressure after the re-gas.

I would check for leaks first -

If it doesn't hold pressure, then the most likely culpret it the condensor. It will be pin-holed, and need replacing.

A new condensor should be swapped with it's receiver drier.
Approx £135 fo these, plus o-rings, labour and then, vac-out and re-gas.

I had a new condensor and receiver drier fitted, and then a full vacuum and regas.

    Works an absolute treat now
