Default Can I replace a Z19DT engine with a Z19DTH engine, fairly easily?

Hi, I have just had a failure of a Z19DT engine in my Vectra Estate. The brake vacuum pump 'adaptor' (between the pump and the end of the camshaft), split in two and jammed the camshaft. The cam stopped turning, the woodruff key on the campulley sheared and the pistons met the valves.

Anyway I can get a double overhead can engine but I'm not sure whether the original gearbox will mate to it, and what else, apart from the engine management system, I will need to change or modify.

Any ideas gratefully received, many thanks.

May be possible, but you'll need engine, loom, ecu, downpipe (i think), and i think the gearboxes have different ratio's on the 150 to the 120?

    Hi

Well there's differences between the two vehicles electronically and mechanically.

It would be easier/cheaper to replace it with the correct engine.

    Gearbox
    Ecu's
    Fuse box (variant dependant)
    Various engine bay looms
Exhaust system (inc turbo depending on year and variant)
