    Default Boost sensor clean

Hi guys I've seen the how2 on opening and cleaning the boost sensor on my 1.9 120 cdti. The pictures show how to cut the metal band that joins the black piece with the cream piece. My problem is that my boost sensor doesn't have the " metal band" just what looks like black plastic it looks like the cream and black bit are just glued together. I'm wondering is there anyone here who has The same type of boost sensor as mine and actually managed to open it.

have you removed the black box cover to the left of the top nut there? in there is a tiny filter a peeled mine off. maybe try this first?
ps have you replaced your vac pipes attached to it yet or cleaned the sensor on the back of the inlet if its in the same place mine is a 150?74d107f9.jpgvacuumhoses.jpg £2 for new vac pipes and get 3mm and change them after the car has been running a while otherwise they are a pig to get over the ends.

Ye cheers dude. I have previous threads . Last week I've had new dmf, and cleaned egr and throttle I also bought a new injector connection housing for no3 but didn't change it yet because I read here somewhere it only affects 150 cdti and mines A 120
