was talkin to me mate today about this, he said there was quite a few cracks on the belt. so looks like the job was done just in time.
£100 is a lot better than either an engine rebuild or a engine change if its really bad.

read post 4. yes only 30,000 miles on the car, but its a 2005 car. now 7 years old, and tbh i should have done the belt before i did, 24 valves + 2 heads too fix = either a new engine or a massive repair bill.
