    Default Veccy C P0354

    Hi,

I wonder if someone can just clarify what i think might be the problem with my Vectra 2003 1.8 ls.

Today it was running fine then this afternoon i went to drive it and it was misfiring and sounded very lumpy.

I then connected my op-com that came back with

    P0354 - Ignition Coil Cylinder 4 Circuit Range/Performance
    (08) - Present

I`m presuming this is the coil pack so took it off and checked the nearby connectors.
This seemed to fixed so i turned it off and cleared the fault.
However after 10mins when i tried to start it again i was back to square one again.

Are there any Vectra gurus that think the same as me being the coil pack?

    Thanks for any help

Vehicle : Mk1 renault scenic... I know I know but it drives

Coil pack going open circuit once hot.

You can confirm fault by testing coil using op com via engine diagnostic actuator tests

I dont think this is the same, ive found ignition coil cylinder 1,2,3,4 all seperate test not sure how to use it, say connect test spark plug.
This morning i took off the coil pack and clean the springs that connect to spark plugs, number 4 was abit gummy car started ok but when it got to temperature it came up with the same cylinder 4 coil error.
