Default fuel trim bank 1 & 2 and misfire due to low fuel

hi guys have been having this problem for a while changed many parts with no effect used my autel maxiscan ms509 tool and did some live data readings so what im looking for is the shrt term and longterm fuel values mine are as follows
    between 880 and 900 rpm reads from -5.5 to 6.3on shortfuel trim 1 & 2
and on long fuel trim 1 & 2 its at 5.5

at revs above 2000 rpm short fueltrim is 25.0
and on long fueltrim it stays at 5.5

can anyone help on these figures as to my problem thanks

I'm not familiar with these readings or your GSI engine, but I'll take a stab at what they might mean...!
Fuel trim is usually the amount the ECU compensates for under/over-fuelling. So, a +ve trim would increase the fuel in the engine, -ve subtract, usually in % fuel.
In your case, at low speeds everything seems relatively sensible. Above 2000rpm, you're getting very low fuel on short term fuel trim, but ok long term. It therefore sounds like you're having misfire problems above 2000rpm - over a long period of time, the fuel is kind of ok, but if you sampled a short period, a misfire becomes significant and hence the error - does this sound like what you're seeing?

If so, we're looking for a misfire problem above 2000rpm on a GSI - who knows the likely causes of this Members?!

Its telling you there is just a mixture problem. Air leak or air flow meter most likely.

What are your oxygen sensor readings?

Is the car going into closed loop operation?

What length of time is each injector open for?
Has the mad wiring been checked?
