Hello again people, has anyone fitted a hid kit to the h1 lamps on the main beam, if so what does it look like, is it a benefit, whats it like when you give someone a quick flash to say thanks or f off lol.

Not great as HIDS take time to fully function. Even manufacturers that fit HIDS in the main beam as standard still fit halogens for the "flash" to let you out/f*** off situation.

Look for halogens claiming 5000 or 6000k, they will give a whiter light. Or try Osram night breakers in h1 for a brighter light.

Not to mention shortening their lives by switching them on and off all the time.

Best bet is not to worry that your high beams are a different colour to your dips. Not many others are going to. End of the day as long as they work and light the road in front of you - who cares?
