Apologise if this is an obvious question, but I'm new to Vauxhall's and my symptoms do not appear to match the 'common' symptoms of 'common' faults, so please bear with me.
2004 Signum 1.9 CDTi 150 (85k Miles)
I have just picked the car up, so not a great deal of time to test, but what happened was I picked the car up and drove slowly to the motorway, all fine, then 30 mins on the motorway, again all fine, came off the motorway and on a 50mph road on part throttle/boost the revs just decayed and then the engine stalled.
Pull over, it immediately restarts and drives ok, I put my foot hard down and the boost builds, then it seems to stutter/miss fire, then the revs decay again and then it stalls.
It immediately restarts and then I'm able to drive it home without issue (but not using much throttle) for the next 20 mins.
As a side note, for a 150bhp car, I think its under powered.
I have no engine management or other lights on, I have Op-Com in the post but its not arrived yet.
I'm aware of the common CDTI problems and I intend to check/rectify all of them-
Small Boost Pipes Near Front Right of the engine cover
Throttle Body Clogged
Boost Sensor Clogged
I guess my question is, are the symptoms I'm seeing possibly attributable to one of the common problems listed above (and if so, which one?), or is it possibly something else, and if so, what?
Thanks In Advance
