    Default LED Angel Eyes

    Hi all, i want to upgrade my angel eye sidelights to led sidelights. what size bulbs do i need and how do i dismantle the light to do this mod?

    Thanks in advance

    EDIT: Also, do anybody know what rear bulbs i can fit leds to without the light warning?

    Here's what you need:

    Although some members use the 'triple smd' ones to decrease the hotspot effect.

    To replace them, remove plastic covers on the back as you would when changing a bulb. The halo bulb holders can be removed from their seats by a gentle tug. No need to split the headlight unit up. Access isn't the best but it is possible to change all bulbs in a headlight unit.

    Yes, your screen will display the passenger sidelight being out.

    Don't know what the triple ones are actually called m8 but I know Ian Highlander has added a resistor to each of his headlights to stop the strobing.

    mmm... interesting. a little more research and i think ill be starting this. im going to tint the headlights but want the light to be clearly seen. Cheers

    286 t5 3smd leds are the lights u need the resistors are the 10w ones fron hids direct( the gold ones) if you cant find the drop ian highlander a pm as he sent me the link ,the above will not give errors if fitted together but they will strobe.

    thats good thanks. im not bothered about the strobing but the error lights are annoying!
