Default Slight Judder to 3.0 V6 (54 Plate Facelift)

Hi Helpful chaps, am reading a lot of confusing information re the above, basically my 3.0 V6 CDTI has a judder when accelerating, like its not fueling properly, there are NO warning lights on on the dash, and I change my fuel filter every 5k or so. Its fine on idle btw.

Any ideas as to a starting point as to where to see the problem may lay?

    Thanks in advance.

Does this judder occur at any particular engine revs or gear(s) ? Is there any smoke?

Can you feel the judder through the drivers seat when at idle?
When the judder occurs at revs, are there any specific ranges?
Does it feel more like braking or surging?
Is the issue constant or erratic?

I've just noticed this is a query about a second period 2004 registration facelift yet profile shows as a 2005 reg
I wouldn't have thought that would be possible, can you confirm this
Equally, what engine is fitted (Y30DT or Z30DT)?

It's a 54 plate cdti facelift. Not sure why I've said it's a 55 plate on my profile lol.

Right as for specifics, it's low range 1k to 2k roughly, not consistently happening, idle is fine. It feels more like it's missing a little when accelerating, turbo doesn't stop, and feels more like someone is tapping a brake lightly.

Those are the classic symptoms of the early stages of a blocked SCV
If you haven't got a warranty, buy it NOW

    As an aside
Has the cambelt been changed yet?
What mileage is the car on?
Typically what fuel brand is used (and if possible do you know which refinery)?

54 plate won't be a facelift yet, but it doesn't matter.
Is your car manual mate? Because a faulty DMF can also cause juddering. Also, check actual vs demand fuel rail pressure.

After changing SCV's, Injectors and countless fuel filters, my judder was cured by DMF and clutch kit.....

Cambelt was changed when I bought the car on 52k, now on 120 (80k for chain isn't it?) And mostly morrisons/bp fuel used. And its a Nov registered facelift 3.0 v6 CDTI.
