I have in the past on xbox controllers that I mod. You just have to do quite a few very light spray coats so you dont get much shine/reflection.
Can then futher dull it a couple of days later with a microfibre cloth. Lots of rubbing though.

Hello I've just joined today, I have a cdti sri 150. Looking to spray the v grill to.
