    Finally got round to getting a new genuine Vaux base and seal...

    the boot before....

    and nice new one.....


    also put some silicone sealant under it just to make sure!

    had some rain this morning and so far so good as its still dry in the boot!

    Do you have to take the roof lining down to change the aeriel base?

    yeah but you can just pull it down enough in the middle without removing the side trims etc, its only held up with velcro

    I've got a similar problem behind the drivers seat. Checked everywhere for the leak, roof lining dry, door seal in tacked, no holes anywhere, the carpet is swimming.

    you can just replace the seal i have.

    i used this one it is a perfect firt for a standard vec c base.

    Followed the YouTube link, many thanks mate I'm guna take a look at this tomorrow. Thanks again.. My heater only works on 4 or front screen, could this also be the cause of all the water, should this be the problem.
