    Default Total de-badge of Signum

I don't know why but I rather like wolves in sheeps clothing

My last car was a VW 150 TDi Bora, it looked totally innocuous, no-one even noticed it, but it was great for coming out of a roundabout and booting it and leaving the Beamer driver that was up your a*s*e for dead!

Well... I have a Signum 3.0 TDCI now, OK it's auto this time, but it suits me. I'm a boring old fart and I like the lazy laid back drive it gives me. But it's quite capable of doing pretty much the same as the Bora, and it really can go when you want it to.

So... I want to totally de-badge it, (it adds to the fun). I've already changed the front grille and the normal badges are no problem at all, a bit of heat and they'll come off no problem. The centre wheel caps are easily replaced too. That makes it pretty much unidentifiable to 99% . OK I know you lot would still recognise it !!

The only one I'm having doubts about is the badge in the centre of the steering wheel. I suspect it would just peel off with a bit of persuasion and leave a blank underneath that could just be sprayed over or something. But I'm really not sure.

I'd welcome any advice on removing this...

Some of them have a load of pins round the outside, some have one big pin in the middle, just depends what age and what steering wheel it's off. I seem to remember Soulman had major problems when he did his some time ago.

It's a 2004 Signum Elite with the 4 spoke wheel with rollers. So I'd guess full canbus but that's probably irrelevant. I suppose the other way is just to leave it and cover it up or disguise it in some way.
