I was wondering, is it possible to remove the black pillars from the pictures? And if so, is there anyone who can show me how?

Just to cover them into smth black as the paint went away !!!

Yes you can, think the bolts are just below the top of the door on the inside, you have to remove the door trim to gain access, i think

Mine are just the same mate,you can apparently buy the trims from VX,well you could when i last looked into it about 3 years ago.
