Default What is this connector in the boot for?

Sorry about the lack of pictures. I'll get one up ASAP if no one can tell from my description!
In the boot on the right hand side is a flip down panel to change lights, etc. Anyway, while changing my damaged rear light, I noticed a connector wrapped in grey foam. It looks like a mini, plastic ECU connector. Ie, it was (I think) 2X6 way (2 rows of 6 pins) IDC with a flip up lock ontop. There is also 3 threads to bolt something onto. Would this be wiring for a boot changer, Park pilot, etc. or is my car missing something!
For info, it has a CD70 Nav unit fitted that was, I assume, factory fitted...

Spot on! Just Googled it and found a thread describing the exact location! Ooohhhh does that mean a, reasonably, straight forward retrofit if the wirings in place... But I don't need it... But I want it... But... But......

Well it can be, you will need to check behind the wheel arch liner to see if the axle loom has the plugs on the end for the tpms receiver. You will then need tpms sensors fitted to each wheel. If you have them you can retrofit them and get a tech2 session. Module, receivers and sensors are different for halfcan cars but that will not effect you as you have a cd70 so will have a full can car so can fit both. Looms can modified to add the receiver connections.

So it can be done but it depends on your wallett and how keen you are modding.
