Default Head Gaskets Small Job !!!!

Hi, doing both head gaskets on my Vectra 3.0 CDTI. Its the Y30DT engine and the job seems to be taking years.
Does anyone know if the head bolts are stretch bolts and have to be replaced or not. They seem really long and go very deep into block.
I,m thinking, 2 head gaskets, timing belt kit and auxilliary belt.
I checked EGR cooler with air line and is ok.
    Any other suggestions ?????
Has anyone got diagram of head torque down sequence and values
    Thanks for the interest.

    It's a huge job mate.

Yes they are all stretch bolts.

I think the sticky has torque values if you pm me your number I'll text you a pic of the sequence.

Their a 3 thickness of head gasket depending on number of notches on edge.

Check valve clearances before rebuilding totally.

Ensure you check the cylinder liners as engine is renowned for liners dropping.

My number 6 cylinder was full of water when I removed mine.

Thanks for reply, i was sure all the water was out, but i removed front head and water came out and 1st and 3rd had water in but probably from lifting the head. The gasket still looks ok so no definate evidence yet, was diagnosed by Vauxhall, but they said they did not know which head. I done a sniif (block) test and it showed everytime green evenwhen i disconnected each injector supply one at a time.
Have not measured cylinder liners yet with feelers but they look dead level with head and engine run sweet as a nut, and had no ticking from valves.
Is it best to replace with thickest head gasket, and did you have heads crack tested and skimmed or just tested for flatness.

Yeah I had my heads pressure tested an skimmed in local engine place at cost of £40 per head. Couple of hours turn around

I decided it was best to replace with thickest gasket an went with only genuine parts. With it being such a big job their was no way I wanted to do it again. Due to I'll fitting parts etc.

The only problem is their factory order parts

My quote for the parts for the Y30DT head gaskets and cam belt job was pleasantly surprising from Marshall Vauxhall using the trade card, even made me smile again. £390 + vat. even with a new axillary belt and new bolts.
and £60 for each head for pressure test and skim.
When it is all back together, does anyone know if i will have any problems bleeding out the fuel system.

You will have a complete nightmare getting it going lol

Because theirs no lift pump in tank.

You will make life a lot easier for yourself by filling the filter to the brim through bolt hole. Made need to do it again after couple of cranks.

Then after that it should go. If not easy start is your friend

If you did no remove the pump then just turn over a few times with one injector pipe loose to bleed out air it will start fine.
