    Default VXR Sway bars

Sorry, new and I can't seem to find anything using the search function. What were the upgrades on the VXR compared to the regular Vectra? I know the brakes were bigger but it had to have maybe lowering springs and bigger sway bars? Are they available?

The anti roll bars are simply the larger size ones, the same as on many other Vectras. They do have two-piece bushes though, whereas most Vectras have one-piece ones.

What would be the size of the sway bars (mm)? Who carries them?

Before you go buying a new sway bar, you need to be aware that to remove the existing one and fit the new one you have to remove the subframe, and realigning it afterwards isn't an easy job.

I've done far more work than that but I appreciate the heads up. I'm in no rush I was just curious as to what is available. It handles well enough now and if I put springs in it the handling will improve to probably more than I need.

Has anyone measured the thickness of their sway bars??

The largest diameter bars listed by Vauxhall/Opel for European Spec
    Vectra C are: Front - 25.2mm and Rear 19mm

That's a common combination over here, it's not just VXRs that have the larger size ones fitted. I'm sure many people have resorted to measuring their sway bars, because when you want to buy replacement bushes the dealers can't tell you what size you need, you need to either measure the bar or try and find the size or part number written on the bush that's already fitted to the car.

Which models came with the bigger sway bars? I guess I should measure mine to make sure i don't already have them.
