    Default Is it worth remapping a 1.8SRi?

    As above. I know the gains are only around 7bhp, but what about driveability and torque?

    Yes it is worth it mate not just for power drive ability is massively improved
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    i have looked about and as ists not a turbo you would expect about 10bhp increase and about 15-20 NM increase

    if you had a turbo on the other hand the possibility is endless

    It's not just about gains as much as people like it to be power wise the car is far more responsive and loads better to drive full stop

    This may be a silly question but.. What are you looking to pay for a remap on a 1.8?... £200? IMO, 10bhp is not really a worthwhile return on your investment.

    i agree with that. if you got the 1.9 then with the increased mpg you can make it pay for itself
