    confused Subuaru WRX Q

Guys!! How the hell are ya?

I'm thinking (definitely) of chopping in my economical 1.9 Vec estate for a fast and thirsty WRX. Years 98-2000. I need some fun, I've always owned heavy Cruisers.
Anyone owned one and know what to look for?
I've been to see three up to now and my gut told me to walk away; either overpriced or a shed.
One guy advertised as FSH and the book was penned in, not stamped lol - I'm convinced!!

    Any advice welcome.

Get one. I've owned a sti version 2 type ra 6 years ago with 310 brake and it was the nuts. At the time no one had seen a ra so didnt really now what it was. Now my girlfriend has got just a wrx that I've been working in thats putting out 420 brake. Lots of time and money spent on it but what a weapon it is. Get a import there more powerfull and check for rust as these never came with underseal on them + normal engine checks aswell. The main problems with them is cchocolate pistons. My advice run super unleaded allways let warm up cool down and plenty of oil changes on these cars and you should be good.

Aren't imports much higher to insure? think someone mentioned that to me.
I've seen some really nice ones but I've dismissed them for that reason
