    Default Dmf change

Evening all. I'm toying with the idea of changing the flywheel myself has annyone managed to do it? If so what do I need to look out for and do while I'm there. Goes without saying will change the clutch. I spend my days fixing fighter aircraft so I think I have the ability. Any special tools required apart from a flywheel lock?
    Cheers

You need get it up as high as you can to give you room to get subframe off.

Advise I'd say is use bungees on steering rack as it saves messing around with steering joint.

A flywheel locking tool will be helpfull when torturing bolts up but a big flat blade screwdriver does same trick

Id also recommend draining gearbox oil (ensuring to can undo fill plug first) as saves worrying about making a mess.

Chane slave cylinder at sane time.

An extra pair of hands to help. Ench press box in an out will be useful to

Recommend using a impact wrench when i did mine struggled for ages trying to loosen flywheel bolts impact wrench loosened them in a matter of seconds Then when putting things back together refit starter motor before refitting drive shafts that extra room saves a lot of swearing lol
