    Default 2.0T Clutch/Hydrolic Problem

    Hi All,

So after a few months of care free driving I developed my first problem with my Vec C on Friday.

Driving out to Lunch when all of a sudden the clutch pedal goes very light...changing gears normally until I stop... then the biting point has moved to about an inch away from the floor and the pedal only comes up about 1/4 of the way...

I pulled over and turned her off and then pulled the pedal up with my foot. started and she behaved again until 5 mins later and exactly the same thing happend again. Ended up getting green flag to take me home. Its going inot Motorbodies tomorrow.

Im thinking its either Master or Slave cylinder as It feels like a hydrolic issue. Anybody else had these issues? Does the 2.0t have a DMF or is that just for Diesels?

    Cheers.

Yes, the 2.0T has a DMF, but when they fail they make lots of noise about it.

I was sure they didnt....******!! Oh well. I am wondering if its worth doing the clutch & DMF if its the slave cylinder... as they will need to take the Gearbox off anyway...
