Default What a day retro fitting

So my mate wants his car to look like a Sri, his car is a exclusive so we set sail.

Fog lights where installed no wiring tho

The front bumper never had a splitter so we got a laguna splitter and used self tappers to fit

Then the big one retro fit roof rails wow what a job the roof lining had to be dropped, curtain airbags needed to be removed, the gutter stip had to come off and cut so it ends at the windscreen, some drilling in the roof to remove rivets and clips. To fit the rails took just over 3 hours

The rails have holes as it was removed from a ex police car so they will be filled in

Nice job marc. Been better filling and painting the roof rails before you put them on though bud.

Watch out with the front fogs - I was told if they are present but not working, they'd fail an MOT. I asked about this as I was gona do the same and just leave them for cosmetic value only.

Front fog light do not come into the MOT at all, only the rear.

Just wire them the old fashioned way. If I ever get my new fuse box in and my fogs working ala' factory I will have a loom for behind the bumper you can have.
