    Default Chrome trim help please

Guys my chrome trim under the passenger window is absolutely keyed to hell, it happened a week after I got the car by some idiot where I was working,

Finally getting round to getting a new one, can anyone confirm a few things?

I want one from a scrapyard really so as signums are rareish, would a vectra one fit?
Its passenger door so I'm thinking it should

Lastly, anyone got ANY idea how to replace it? It looks quite complex hopefully I'm wrong lol
    thanks guys

Just ease it of at one end and it will come up then wind the window down and from the inside put youre hands on the trim and pull up you dont have to use a lot of force .

Wind window down an lift it from the inside they are a tight fit but it will come off.

Fotting new one it's best to use tiny taps with a soft hammer

That's interesting, I was looking to de-chrome mine, but if I paint or vinyl it, you'll still be able to notice it's been done due to the slightly different levels. But if I replaced them with pre-facelifted SRI ones (which should fit) They should look less out of place!

I had chrome on my Exclusiv but have recently changed them to the black trim, just bought a cheap set off ebay.

All came off pretty easy apart from one that was a bit of a b**ch to get off and is now slightly bent, hopefully if I can get it straightened I'll get them up for sale soon.
