I am a First Aider, Fire Marshal, Health and Saftey rep. I do risk assesment, and am a Blood Donor too.
Well anyway on the way to work at 5.30 this morning. I notice a Body lieing in the service road. I turn the car round to see what I can do. When I got there there is a man on the phone. I announce that I am a First Aider, and put some surgical gloves on (that I carry in the car). I check for vital signs and he is breathing, but "well out of it" I could not wake him. But he had not blood stains or wounds, but a liquid was on the road by his head. The Ambulance arrived, I told them of my findings and suspicions. They then took over. But it looked like my suspicions were correct. He had drunk too much last night and passed out on the way home, he probably had been there for quite a number of hours, he was lucky he "slept" in the recovery position as to all his vomit had run from his mouth and he was lucky not to choke on it. Nor suffered hypothermia as it has been a lot warmer here for a few days. As I turned the car round and headed off to work I could see him noe standing up, The Paramedics had managed to wake him.
No doubt he is feeling like $hite now.
