Default Powered steering and door open lights

Does anybody have any idea what these mean. Powered steering light is light up as is the passenger door open light. The powered steering is still working and the door is definately shut. Any ideas on how to solve these and remove them before it goes to Vauxhall for a service and they try to give me a big bill.

dont know about the door open light but the power steering light might suggest that the fluid for the steering may be low, my gaiter leaked a while back and the steering light came on. its not that hard to refil the bottle back up

the door switch can be cured by cleaning the plug in the door with some contact cleaner, that has worked in the past..and as for the power steering light if it isn't the fluid level it may be the software not enabling the pupms systems..

    oh, and BTW, Happy christmas.....

I have filled the power steering fluid up and the light is still on. Any more ideas?? Have also sprayed the lock with WD40 and the dash still tells me the door is open. Going to have to take to Vauxhall soon I think.
