    Default Fk street coilovers -setup

Hi had my fk street coilovers fitted. I preset it to 15mm adjustment left on front and rear.

Problem is the front isn't really that low but the rear is dropped below the tyre. Way too low! Looks like the rear suspension is broken

I tried to upload pics but keeps saying pics too big and trouble resizing on my iPad.

Anyway had a question checked on the rear they didn't fit the rubber tops back on above the adjuster. Did anyone with same setup fit it on above adjuster?

Mine are a different make but they look the same sort of set up I kept all rubbers on the back as I thought it would help with any sounds coming from springs. (metal on metal)
But looking at the picture on my phone it looks like its low.
Would love mine to look that low

Is this not because the front arches are higher due to the body work of the car rather than the suspension or chasis being set up at an angle. I'm pretty sure that providing your measurements are right your chasis may well be level. It's just the cut of the arches creating the appearance that the rear is lower. If it really irks you, you can consider dropping the rear by up to 5mm less which look more balanced and may also improve handling and prevent the rear end sliding out.

I took it down to elite direct in Essex to have it aligned and they advised I don't need to refit the rubber. I'll raise it a bit at the back. I know what you mean by the arches not being on different heights.

Just wondering if anyone with fk setup runs with front all the way down? Doesn't seem that low at the front at the moment

    Btw I'm running 18's

Is it easy to adjust at home? Was thinking of , lowering mine so was considering coilovers for flexibility

It's not very straight forward to adjust the rears. You still need to loosen off the shock to release tension in the spring or the adjuster won't turn. But you do get to setup height exactly how you want. It might help if I could jack up both sides but I only have one jack

Im quite pleased with the ride speed bumps are a bit harsh especially the really sharp ones. The roads are not too bad cornering is much better I had 30mm eibachs on but still too much roll for me and the front was too high
