    confused corsa 1.3cdti

hi sorry i know this is the vectra forums, but im wondering if anyone could help?

    Ive got a corsa 1.3cdti 2005

it seems to have the same missfire/hesitation as described by owners of the the 1.9 cdti vectra.

    symptoms:

*around 1500rpm it seems to have a flat spot, runs rubbish and hesitates noticable more in 2nd gear (almost turbo lag feeling) just at this rev range this seems more noticeable when the outside temp is above 10.c. it also hesitates at higher revs (randomly), i disconnected the maf and this seem to cure the higher rev hesitation, i bought a new maf but still get the 1500rpm problem and occasional slight hesiation feeling higher up(again when the weather is hot/warm) but runs fine, pulls great, and mpg is good. just been out now and its cooler and doesnt seem as bad at all.

*when the engine is cold or been standing for say 20 mins, if i hold the revs at 1500rpm it shudders and vibrates and misfires and i get a lot of smoke, it also doesnt like starting sometimes even tho the heater light goes off after about 2 seconds

    * its just had a full service.

    * it went to a diesel place and they said they didnt know what was wrong and the ; pumps, rail, injectors, plugs, relay were all good. noone knows whats wrong

    * no codes or EML (only when i disconnected the maf)

    * next step i was thinking the map sensor or the wiring to the 3rd injector?

really am lost here, any advice?

replaced - fuel filter, maf, egr and low pressure pump

Turbo waste gates get stuck but normally closed which causes a overboost fault

Its worth cleaning the boost sensor if you've not done it already, Check the 'how 2' section for a guide they look the same as the vec/sig sensor & are on the back of the engine, It will have a boost control valve somewhere that maybe worth a look at as the vec/sig ones tend to get gunked up & cause blips/hesitations & lack of power, You can find posts regarding that here
