Anyone know what wire on the Quadlock of a CD70 is "Live" after you turn off the ignition and remove keys ?
I believe there is a "live" that stays "live" for a minute or so.

Pin 15 should be the 12v , it must stay live all the time as the stereo can be turned on even when the ignition is off

Does pin 15 loose power after you lock the car etc? That's the power line I need.
I'm looking for a live feed that stays on for a while after you leave the car, but the feed looses it's voltage after a small time.
Test it
Vectra VXR estate 2007 Sapphire Black
Teapot Tuned 255/300
Eibachs B8's, fully loaded factory options
Tech2 & MDI diagnostics + SPS
If you find the thread on fitting led lights to the w ingmirrors the information in there should help , the lights stay on and then go out after around 1 minute

My raspberry pi currently turns on with the ignition. It shuts down hard when you turn off ignition.
The latter is not good for the pj's SD card. It needs to be shut down before power is cut.
So I'm building a circuit that will turn the pi on when you unlock the car, and shut down gracefully when you lock it.
I'm putting a constant supply to the pi from the battery, but need temp "unlock live" and "lock live" circuits to tap into so I can send a shutdown/startup command via the gpio on the pi
Hope that makes sense.
Do you have anti-hijack turned on? That may play havoc with what you're intending to do.
Those type of circuits already exist though, I've fitted a Pi to a vec using one of these: https://www.pi-supply.com/product/pi...-raspberry-pi/ replacing the battery pack with a permanent live.
What happens is the switched live (in this case generated from a CTSVX002, but can be picked up from the cig lighter) is used as the power feed. A small script on the Pi is used so that when the PIUPS detects the loss of the feed, it switches to the backup (permanent feed) and initiates a shutdown after approx 15 seconds.
There's also the excellent Mausberry adapters which are designed for car use here: http://www.mausberrycircuits.com/col...upply-switches although they seem to be perpetually sold out.

All I can suggest is a delay circuit that powers down after a set time.
However - consider this....
In standard use - all cars go into "quiescent" mode after 5 minutes of the ignition being turned off.
So as such "ALL" none essential circuits should power down after 5 minutes.
I know this is true for the interior lighting feed from the BCM.
I hope that helps.
