Injector plug.

Hi all, I have what seems like the faulty connector on injector number 3 but its already been changed for the better one before I got the car. Is the new one likely to have failed or will it be one of the others? There's no fault codes on the car is there a way of testing the plugs I've already taken them off and cleaned them but its still the same.

IF the loom has been rectified there should be no further problem. I suggest you do the job again properly. End of problem.

The main loom itself hasn't been touched, the plug on number 3 has been changed but none of the others have. Is it likely to be number 3 again or one of the others? The plug was replaced before I got the car.

Yes I think so

The problem is not the plug per se but the loom/wiring to the plug.

I also have a 600 plus bhp one but I have just as much fun tuning my wife's Vectra. 279 bhp/437 ft.lbs in daily driving form. It was 284 bhp before we shut it down to daily driving map with reduced boost and fuel.
