Will need to be modified mate will not bolt straight on
Cheers. Do you know is it a big enough job, Car has the back box bracket on the drivers side. Where abouts would it be modified,.,
You will need a step down connector for the front pipe to mate it to the centre pipe. IIRC External dia of the 1.8 front pipe is 45mm and internal dia of the 2.0T is 54mm.

Thanks Das. Take it an exhaust place would be able to source the down connector or would i get it online.. also was wondering would this affect car performance i.e would it upset engine output etc...
Plenty places on ebay do step down connectors in custom sizes, pretty cheaply too. I have a new front pipe up in the attic, I will take measurements for you.
I doubt it will upset anything. TBH I cant figure out if it will make the 1.8 breath more freely(and free up a few bhp along the way) or not. The normal 1.8 system is 1 back box and 1 centre box, the 2.0T system is just 2 back boxes. Maybe someone knows if its that makes for a freer flowing system.

as the man says, just need that connection, more commonly known as a reducer when you want to do a search for one
The wifes vec show car is currently being stripped for parts before i scrap it, keep an eye on the sales section.. https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/garage_vehicle.php?do=view_vehicle&id=709
Cheers guys. Just spoke to exhaust place on near me.. Said he could make something up for me, should be too hard.. (he said).. your man does rallying in his spare time so guess he'll know what to do... Can always try it and see..
Yup front pipe is 45mm in dia. MIJ do one made to measure on ebay dirt cheap.

BTW best I can figure you'd need a 45mm inner and a 55mm outer. Think thats right, anyone?
