    Default CDTI 130 owners

    Hello all,

Some of you have probably read this thread about my dad looking at an Insignia.

Anyway, a week later and talk about it hotting up, so much so that if it is still available on Saturday we may end up buying it.

So, all you CDTI 130 owners, come forward and tell me about your experience(s), good and bad, what to look out for and just some general feedback.

I had a really good chat with Don yesterday (thanks mate) but just thought id put this out there too.

The one we are looking at is a 2010/60-reg 2.0 SRI CDTI 130, buts its the one without the Sat Nav.

Again my dad will be upgrading from a Vectra SRI CDTI 150 - facelift.

    Talk to me guys.

    Thanks.

To be honest, he just fancies a change, has had the Vec 5 years now.

30mpg? Had mine for 4 months and am averaging 42. This is a lot of town, and some 20 mile motorway work. 60 plate SRI hatch. No sat nav either!
I went from a 120 diesel Vectra Exclusive. Performance around the same, but the drive is much nicer. Feels more solid, corners really well, and goes if it needs to. Everyone has different opinions, but for me it's streets ahead of the Vectra in every way.

Hi (yes me is back!! hello folks) - my insignia130ps Manual CDTI NAV park sensor + AFL has just had a complete manifold system.
I got it as used only by VX so it qualified for 100k / life warrant.
(2010 year) Within a month after I had it we (with the dealer) confirmed that the back disks were scored and front disks warped - result new disks and pads all round- warranty.
(2 Weeks ago) noted tugging and hesitation - and alarm chimes with 'Service Vehicle Soon' (38,000 on clock) - dealer confirmed swirl valve - result complete new manifold system - warranty.
All is tip top now - but it seems that vx still use the Fiat diesel block.
The dealer - APPROACH of Andover was brilliant (They always have been!) - thats why its such a shame that after about 50 years they have gone into administion.
