    Default Pioneer Install Questions

    Guys
Am going to buy the Pioneer head unit P75BT as per the link below. To install this in my vectra and retain full control of the head unit and IPOD, I think I need the bits below

    Vaux facia adaptor
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PIONEER-DEH-P7...em120066396860
Pioneer to Vaux Interface - http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_p...artno=CARPI152

Do i need anything else guys or are my assumptions correct?

    Thanks

    Hi Guys

Will this device display the MP3 tags on the display in the Vectra?

No it won't, it does excactly the same job as the first item you posted but for non CanBus Vectras.

If you have a CD30 you need the 152 lead, is you have a pre CD30 you need the 150 which I have a spare one of as I bought it by mistake and am willing to sell !!!!

All they both give you is steering controls, and leave either the date, or your trip computer info on the screen

Check out my link below as I have the Pioneer 75BT installed. Never saw the point of the iPOD connector though as the unit plays MP3s off a CD, but then I do spend more time in the car than I do on foot !!!!

    Cheers

I think the iPod connector is Useful because it Eliminates the Need to Mess around with CDs in the Car, and it Also means that you can do the whole playlist things that you cant do with CDs really

Fair point, but for me the CD was adequate rather than having another device in my car.

I am waiting for Pioneer to make an MP3 CD multichanger like Kenwood do. A 10 disc changer with CD's loaded with MP3s will be very useful indeed.
