I know I haven't been about for a little while, but been so busy at work, no time for Vec Stuff..
Anyhow my first post this week is going to be about motorway slip roads.
I have a gripe.
Just lately people seem to treat them as everything EXCEPT what they are really for....
I join the M4 at J16 I think (near Wotton Bassett) and EVERY morning people dordle down the slip road, changing CD's, on ipadphoneplayers, faffing about with GPS, or chatting.
Meanwhile doing 40MPH and joining a Major Motorway were everyone is doing 70+, with a trail of cars behind them.
This causes the rest of us poor saps stuck behind you in the aforementioned trail to be forced under lorries, or come to the end of the slip road with no-where else to go, or to equally join at 40, and have someone drive up our rear end. This makes us very irate, not in least part due to the certain risk of death!
So in essence this post is 2 things;
Firstly it's an apology to the flatbed HGV I cut up whilst trying not to die in a truck sandwich, and secondly as a polite reminder to all those that use the slip road as an extention to their country drive..... it isn't.
If you don't like driving onto a M/Way don't F'cking use them, you inconsiderate f'cking a**holes!
Some of the 10 car train you are holding up have families, and we'd like to see them again!
And yeah I really did nearly die!!
I've never been in so much fear of my life in a car.
If this was the US, and I had a Gun in the car, it would have all gone GTA style, and I've have shot the Hyundai driver in the face, along with his dog and his wife!
I'm just a little shaken by it all!
Still alive in Wiltshire!
