    Default Make sport switch work

    I've read the how to but can't figure it out. I know how I can power the lights on the switch reading Ian's how to, but I want to connect a tuning box to the switch so when I press the switch it comes on the

    That's the exact topic am talking about lol. It just sounds really confusing lol, tried reading it about 7 times and am quite alright with car electrics aswel...

    The sport switch (and others) aren't on/off switches, they are just momentary switches. You need to tie them into a latching relay circuit to get anything to switch off and on with them unless the device in question only needs a momentary pulse to switch on or off.

    Thanks mate, u able to tell me how I go around that lo. The box has a plug with 3 wires I'd say they are ground positive and switch

    In that case, permanent ground and live to it and run the switched live from a latching relay circuit triggered by the sport switch, don't forget to run a feed back from the live side of the latched circuit to feed the "on" LED on the switch too
