    Default road resurface

Why when they resurface roads they leave loads of loose gravel. why can't they roll it? Or at least put cones down to stop people overtaking and flicking stones at your car. I go down part of the A511 which is being redone.

our local council have been doing the same recently , random stretches of road are having tar poured on them then covered in gravel , obviously some kind of bodge up to try & make the already knackered road surface last a bit longer .

It just annoys me when you've get people coming in the opposite direction at 60+mph and people overtaking flicking a load stones at your car. Not only that I've seen people on the footpath waving cars to go slow because it was flicking the stones up that much its a joke.

I even held my horn at tit that overtook me.

And if you complain they'll just say they haven't got the money to do a complete resurface. Rubbish. They've got the money to spend billions on the olympics, billions on war, billions on bankers bonuses...
    Something wrong somewhere...
