Default Very big/deep scratch to rear bumper

My brother in law was putting a unit in my boot and one of the draw runners came out the back and has put a very deep very obvious scratch about 4-5CM long across my rear bumper just as it goes into the boot. I am looking to take it down some of the local bodyshop places to get quotes to get it sorted, however does anybody have any advice for a DIY fix? Wouldn't have to be perfect but just not noticeable unless really looking for it kind of thing. I am absolutely gutted and money is a bit tight at the minute so any help would be massively appreciated. Its Sapphire black if that makes any difference

    Thanks in advance.

As lee has suggested ,or maybe have a word with your local smart repair agent . a scratch like that would probable be in the region of £50-70 to repair

how about one of those boot guards, then colour code to your car - that would be a cheaper option
