Default Aux Belt Tensioner - 2.0 DTi Engine

The mount for the aux belt tensioner has snapped clean off!!!
Does anyone know what it has snapped off from? Is it an engine mount, sub-frame or ...? I've no idea and am trying to assess if and how much this is going to cost to put right.
From searching on here it doesn't seem to be one of the more common faults, I can't find anything similar at all.

    Thanks

I think it is the belt tensioner that has snapped. It's a bit difficult to see. The belt tensioner is a removeable and replaceable item.
Have a look at the How 2 about replacing the belt tensioner, it might help.

Yes, I can see where it has snapped off, the silver 'c' area is shiney clean freshly snapped metal, with a matching section bolted to the bottom of the tensioner.
The top of the piston connects to the belt tensioner arm.
The bottom of the piston connects to the frame/engine/ engine mount/something and it is this that has snapped. there is a little lug with a drilled hole that the bottom of the piston bolts to, literally, the lug has cracked off.

The part that has cracked is whatever bolts to this. It is not the tensioner itself that is cracked, it is what the piston bolts to.3d60_12.JPG

As the bracket is under the air con pulley, is it part of the air con assembly?

just had a quick trawl of ebay to see what pics i can find , this is one of a full engine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-V...#ht_500wt_1287
looks as though you need to drop the aircon pump & then the bracket is behind it .
