    Default Resizeing photos

    Could someone jog my memory how to resize a photo to put on the site, I normally use Elements 2. please, I haven,t done any resizing for a while and have forgot how to do it. cheers.

    Hi Ed, I’ve not used Element 2 but most photo manipulation packages should allow you to resize.

    I normally use Microsoft photo editor and reduce the percentage and save the file as a Jpeg (change the name). If you go to the file you have saved (in my documents folder or my pictures) you can see the dimensions of the pic and the size of the file by putting the cursor over it. If the file is not small enough go back to the original and shrink it more.

    Before it can be posted the file must be smaller than 100k and no mere than 700 pix wide & 525 pix height

    Use this. Microsoft plugin for Windows XP. Basically save all the files into a blank folder, then highlight them all. Right click and goto Resize Images. Follow the wizard and it does them all within a few seconds.

    Much easier than loading up 1 at a time
