Default My little mod from yesterday....and some questions !!!

As some of you know, i was waiting for some chrome vinyl from bay to come and do some interior moding to my car.

It came yesterday, but the only problem was that it was to hard to apply on the small pieces of the air vents and door handles.

So what i did, as you gonna see in the pictures, i took the vents off, separated the faces of the vents and sprayed with with a silver spray.

As i am new at this stuff, or course it did not came right, but i was pleased with the result and i hope u gonna like it too!
    The pictures :

Now, cuz i want to make them perfect, i noticed that the vents and the door handles they have something like a protective layer of something. Is there any possibility to remove that layer ???
If not, could someone, which is more handy than me, point me with the right directions for what i need to buy (some links would be perfect). And the whole procedure, lie sanding, priming....and everything else !!!

    Thanks a lot guys !!!

the vinyl looks "stressed" and tbh I don't think the chrome goes well, Im not a fan on the "carbon effect" stuff either, how about gloss black?

@ sinless try a bit of heat at the protective rubbery layer and it should scratch off with a nail or a card.
