    Default Headlight Adjustment

I am driving abroad nest week and just looked at the manual to adjust the lights and it says I need to book in at main dealer,
is that right surely some one here knows how to adjust for RHD?

Is it a facelift? The preface you can do yourself. Its just 2 levers behind the headlight bulb cover.

I think the French have tightened up on the driving laws, like us they are a bit short of money so their plods are really looking for Brits and their cars
You can get stick beam deflectors now and they really do the job.
You now also have to have at least one breathaliser in your car
The Hi Viz Jacket/vest must be in the car with you
Must GB stickers now after years of not worrying about them.
    And the Reflective Triangle

Nope facelift is dealer or beam benders. Its the main reason I changed my headlights to angel eyes so I got the leaver back

The list grows longer by the year. British motorists must display a GB plate and have their headlights adjusted to the right. The vehicle must be equipped with a warning triangle and a luminous safety vest must be kept inside the car – not in the boot. A set of bulbs is no longer compulsory but you can be fined for driving with a broken light.Since January, French law has prohibited drivers from carrying any device capable of detecting speed cameras. If you haven't disabled camera alerts you can be fined at the roadside – up to a maximum of €1,500 (£1,250) – even if the device is not in use. The authorities are also taking down warning signs on the approach to fixed speed cameras.

From July 1 – though it is not being enforced until November 1 – drivers and motorcyclists must carry a breathalyser kit with the French certification mark NF. The breathalysers cost £2 and can be bought at ferry and tunnel terminals.

The legal limit in France is 50mg per 100ml of blood (the limit in Britain is 80mg), which is little more than one small 125cl glass of wine.

I've got everything sorted for my trip except the breathalysers which I will get at the Tunnel tomorrow night. I know they're not essential now but it will save any hassle. I will be flicking the switches to alter the lights during the crossing so no more scraping the stickers off.

Just been to dealer and they said simple job with an Allen Key, told me how to do it no charge, " Park facing a wall or garage door make a note of where lights are pointing on dipped beam (that way I can adjust back after I return to UK) and turn outer Allen screw until lights point to right "simples"
