    we cheated......

Had the OCADO man drop ours off last night....

Shopping for groceries is not one of my strong points, and after getting 'heated' with one or two other 'fellow shoppers' last year, Mrs Gsi decided it would be easier to do it online....

So, all stocked up and ready to go..

Good luck Ian, see you back online late tonight then shall we
I popped into alarge Tesco yesterday morning at half 8, the isles were packed with trollies & you could hardly get by.
The missus went shopping with her parents yesterday & she said the ques at the tills were horrific, they had to que for 45 minutes whilst keeping a 2 & a half year old amused.
That is of course by the time once you've parked & then actually shopped!!!

We have got all the food we need now, I would hate to have to go to ASDA today or tomorrow, I am not the most patient of people to have to wait in a shopping queue, anything we have forgoten now we will have to go without.

Went to Sainsburys this morning... OMG... its just stupid!! Took 20mins to park then queued for near half an hour at the checkout. People were even arguing over the last Turkey ("its mine"..."no its not i saw it first"...etc etc) until one of the staff turned up behind them with a trolley full. Lets just say im glad its over and done with.

Did mine on my day off on Thursday - OH GOD it was horrible!!!!! Billions of screaming kids being slapped by stressed out harrassed parents, and glum, knackered looking shop staff.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

LOL!! The shops are only closed for one day. People seem to think they have to stock up for a nuclear winter.
