Default Anyone use Outlook with Mac??

This is now driving me crazy

I need to get two large files out of my outbox, which I can no longer see, due to new Outlook Version 14.2.1. I can see the progress bar and I know what files they are, but when I hit the "x" button on the progress bar, the large files don't go away. How stupid was it to remove the outbox folder. This used to be so easy to fix. Does anyone have any ideas?

    1. Select "Work Offline" in the Outlook menu
    2. Force close Outlook
    3. Re-open Outlook.
    4. You will still be offline and able to see the Outbox with the message that you want to delete.
    5. Go back to the Outlook menu and again select "Work Offline", which will un-check that option and allow you to do a S/R.

If by "best computer I've ever had" you mean a half decent operating system (FreeBSD) that Apple then took and crippled completely and built some crappy GUI's around to allow you to do a few things and you're happy with that, then yeah fine. I'm a qualified Mac support engineer and hate the things with a passion, you'll never find me owning an Apple product, over-priced, under-spec'd fashion statements

    Glad I could help though

I won't argue cos basically I know naff all about computers apart from being able to use them.....just

After having 3 Windows OS laptops and each one after 3 years slowing and dying beyond salvage (tried formatting, debugging, and various other things) still as slow as slow, freezing, blue screens etc) I thought I'd try a Mac out. My GF bought it for my birthday last Oct and up to now (I now its still early days) not missed a beat. Time will tell I guess.

I agree that there overpriced but I'm hoping this will last 6 years min so the price will not seem too bad in comparison to buying a laptop every 3 years. I also completely agree that people buy them for fashion statements too (not in my case as fashion is the least thing i bother about) Its like when people who have MacBooks or iPhones insist in calling them Macs or iPhones why not just call them laptops or mobiles since that is what they are and that is what you would normally call such a device.
