Panel filter pre face to facelift 1.8?

Hi guy iv bin away for a while after my short lived stint as a vectra owner back in jan
having bought my 54 1.8 Sri on Friday the thirteenth!!!!!
i proceeded to have it written off the following Friday aaaagh!
(not my fault tho)
i had bought a few upgrades for it

Iv only just got around to replacing it tho and am going for the facelift this time around for the extra 20 horses and vvt
just wondering will my green panel filter I never had chance to put in the old one fit the Vvt?

Take the top off the air box and try it should answer the question

I'm fairly sure it will. I've got a K+N one and on the box it says it will fit 1.6's, 1.8's and 3.2's - along with a couple of others. Could have a look on the K+N site to see if they're the same? (I know its a different brand but should be ok)

iirc only the VXR air box differs from the rest of the range so yes it should fit.

Cheers all, I have the car now and it does fit, I know it's an ongoing debate as to what difference a new panel + airbox mod makes but I'd say there is a very subtle difference in noise, only upon setting off tho not through the revs, although I haven't thrashed it yet
and it does feel slightly smoother, again only on setting off, but slightly rough off throttle after a bit of a burst, which personally I like
