Default Parrot Car Kit ... Self Fitting ... Good idea?

After seeing and being very impressed with Spoons' Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR Bluetooth handsfree kit I'm pretty certain I will get one of these in the new year but kind of fancy fitting it to my CD70 myself ... does anyone know of a reason why this might be a bad idea? Is there anything to watch out for that would justify paying a professional fitter to fit? Has anyone fitted one of these themselves ... if so did it take long and was it difficult ... did you need anything extra other than what was with the kit?

    Cheers guys!

should I be worried by this: http://www.parrot.biz/forums/english...ic.php?id=2583 ???

    your in for a struggle
firstly there is no ignition supply at the radio as it canbus( vehicles ecu sends a data signal to turn radio on& off
you will need to rewire the orange wire to an alternative ignition supply ,try the cig lighter

as for fitting the wires .remove the glove box you should then be able to get at the rear of the radio to pull the surplus cables through

Ignition is the ciggy lighter , also you have a mute and direct audio input on the rear of the headunit , so you can control the volume from the radio.

Thanks Dennis ... so I don't need anything other than what is supplied with the kit ... just need to be a bit creative with connecting wires??
